Shoring Up Foundational Skills in Small Groups FILLING
Feedback form is now closed.
Limited Capacity filling up

The Simple View of Reading tells us that fluent readers need two ingredients: decoding skills and language comprehension. For many students, their ability to accurately decode is preventing them from reading on grade level. These readers can benefit from specific interventions in a small group setting centered on their decoding gaps. By the end of this session, attendees will understand how to identify students that need help with decoding, how to lesson plan for a small group with a decoding focus, and will know specific instructional strategies that will support these students.
